Reset Air Pressure
1. Inflate all tires to pressure listed on tire placard.
2. Turn ignition to ON position (engine off).
3. Press forward/back button on steering wheel until trip and odometer are displayed.
4. Press UP/DOWN button until tire inflation pressure monitor is displayed
5. Hold down reset button (located on instrument cluster) until MONITOR CURRENT TIRE PRESSURE? Is displayed.
6. Press + button TIRE PRESS, MONITOR ACTIVATED-PRESS. DISPLAY AFTER DRIVING A FEW MINS. is displayed.
7. If REACTIVATE-TIRE PRESS. MONITOR! Appears, repeat relearn procedure.
8. If CHECK TIRES! appears, indicates tire pressure too low, adjust pressures accordingly.
Relearn New Sensor Ids
Ensure all tires are inflated to the pressure listed on the tire placard. Vehicle must be driven for at least 10 minutes, while maintaining speed above 15 mph in order for system to learn new sensor IDs. If spare tire sensor ID is being programmed, a properly formatted scan tool is necessary.
CHR-1
1. Inflate all tires to pressure indicated on tire placard.
2. Turn ignition to ON position. (engine off)
3. Press and release the MENU button on the EVIC until the message RETRAIN TIRE SENSOR _NO is displayed.
4. Press the STEP button to select YES.
5. Press the MENU button to start the relearn process. The EVIC will display the message, TRAIN LEFT FRONT TIRE.
6. Starting at LF tire, place relearn magnet over valve stem until horn sounds.
7. After horn sounds, proceed as in step 5 for the next 3 sensors in this order: RF, RR, LR, SP (if equpped).
8. Once the EVIC displays the message TRAINING COMPLETE, depress the STEP, C/T, RESET, or MENU buttons to exit the relearn procedure.
CHR-2
Ensure all tires are inflated to the pressure listed on the tire placard. When ignition is turned off, the system will be cleared and the TPMS telltale will turn off. The system will recalibrate when vehicle is operated at a speed of 30 mph for a minimum of 30 seconds.
CHR-3
1. Inflate all tires to pressure indicated on tire placard.
2. Turn ignition to ON position. (engine off)
3. Press and release the MENU button on the overhead console until the message RETRAIN TIRE SENSOR-NO is displayed.
4. Press the STEP button to select YES.

Relearn can be completed using a properly formatted scan tool and relearn magnet.

A properly formatted scan tool is required to learn new sensor IDs when replacing sensors.
Ensure all tires are inflated to pressure listed on the tire placard.
Turn on TPMS scan tool.
Select vehicle year/make/model.
Follow prompts on tool to capture new sensor serial numbers.
Connect tool to vehicle OBD system and write new serial numbers to memory.

1.Put key in ignition and turn to on or accessory mode position

3. Go to the side panel and locate the reset button. Press the button one time.
4. The TPMS light will show on the dash and blink rapidly 3 times.

2. Using you DIC (display instrument cluster) click through options until you locate the tire monitor system setting. Press on the setting that says TPMS reset
Relearn ( Rotated tires and position update)
1. Simply press and hold the down arrow of DIC for 7 seconds and release.
You should see words pressures normal display.

6. After LR sensor has been learned the horn will sound twice, turn ignition to OFF position.
7. Adjust all tires to pressure listed on tire placard.

GM-6
1. Apply parking brake. Turn ignition to ON position (engine off)
2. Turn headlight switch from OFF to parking lamps 4 times within 4 seconds. A double horn chirp will sound and the TPMS telltale will begin blinking to indicate the learn mode is enabled.
3. Starting at the LF tire increase/decrease pressure until horn sounds.
4. After horn sounds, proceed as in step 3 for the next 3 sensors in the following order : RF, RR LR.
5. After LR sensor has been learned, turn ignition to OFF position. Adjust all tires to pressure listed on tire placard. *If headlight switch does not enable TPMS Learn Mode, use TPMS Learn button on dash.
(Optional TPMS Relearn method using a tpms activation tool)
*TIA Troubleshoot Tip: in order for vehicle to be placed into learn mode, the parking brake MUST be functional. Verify brake is engaged by seeing BRAKE illuminated on dash display.
On some 2007 ½ GM trucks the headlight switch will not enable the TPMS learn mode. See steps below:
Apply parking brake. Turn ignition to ON position (engine off).
Using the DIC controls, Press Vehicle Information Button until “Press check to relearn” displays. Press the check, a double horn chirp will sound and the TPMS telltale will begin blinking to indicate the learn mode is enabled.
Starting at the LF tire, use TPMS activation tool to activate sensor, once the vehicle receives the signal from the sensor, the horn will chirp.
After horn sounds. Proceed as in step 3 for the next 3 sensors in the following order: RF, RR, LR.
After LR sensor has been learned, turn ignition to OFF position. Adjust all the tires to pressure listen on tire placard.
GM-7
1. Inflate all tires to pressure indicated on tire placard.
2. Turn ignition to ON position (engine off).
3. Hold down MODE button until DIC display reads LOW TIRE PRESSURE HOLD SET TO RESET.
4. Hold down SET button until a chime sounds and TIRE PRESSURE RESET is displayed.
5. System will now sound a chime 3 times, and DIC will display TIRE PRESSURE NORMAL.

With standard ignition:
1. Turn the ignition to the ON position (engine off)
2. Using keyless entry system: press and hold lock and unlock button simultaneously until horn sound and release INFO button until TIRE LEARN message is indicated on display. Hold down SET/RESET button until horn sounds. LF turn signal is illuminated to indicate learn mode enabled.
3. Starting with LF tire, increase/decrease the pressure until horn sounds.
4. After horn sounds, proceed as in step 3 for the next 3 sensors in the following order, RF RR LR.
5. After LR sensor has been learned, turn ignition to OFF position. Adjust all tires to pressure listed on tire placard.
With Push-Button start:
1. Press and hold the push start button until the vehicle is in accessory mode. Note: on Cadillac models you will know you are in accessory mode when the Cadillac emblem appears on the DIC.
2. Press the MENU button located on the turn signal lever until “VEHICLE INFORMATION MENU” is displayed.
3. Once you are in the VEHICLE INFORMATION MENU, use the arrows on the signal lever until the DIC displays the vehicle’s tire inflation pressures and positions.
4. Press and hold the button located on the end of the turn signal lever until “ Are you sure that you want to relearn? YES or NO” is displayed.
5. Use the arrows on the signal lever to highlight YES. Once YES is highlighted, press the button located on the end of the turn signal lever. The horn will chirp, “Tire Learning Active” will be displayed on the DIC, and the left turn signal will be illuminated.
6. Beginning with the left front tire, use a TPMS activation tool to activate the LF sensor. Once the sensor has been activated, the horn will chirp and the right turn signal will be illuminated. Repeat procedure in the following order. RF, RR, LR. Once the LR has been activated, the horn will chirp twice. You can then turn the vehicle off to exit “learn mode”.

2. Press and hold unlock and lock buttons on the keyless entry transmitter until the horn sounds.
3. Starting with LF tire, increase/decrease the pressure until horn sounds.

2. Make sure the vehicle has been parked for at least 2 minutes before proceeding.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position (engine off)
4. Press the RESET button on the Driver Information Center (DIC) to clear any warning messages displayed on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)
5. Press and release the OPTIONS button on the DIC unit the IPC display is blank
6. Press and hold the RESET button on the DIC for three seconds
7. Press and release the OPTIONS button again until message TIRE TRAINING appears on the IPC.
8. Press and release the RESET button until the message LEARN L FRONT TIRE is displayed.
9. Starting at left front tire, place relearn magnet over valve stem until horn sounds.
10. After horn chirp has sounded, proceed as in step 8 for the next three sensors in the following order: right front, right rear, and left rear.

Once the sensor has been activated, the horn will chirp and the right front turn signal will be illuminated.Repeat procedure in the following order, right front sensor, right rear sensor, and finally the left rear sensor. Once the left rear sensor has been activated, the horn will chirp twice. You can then turn the vehicle off to exit “learn mode.”
Ford TPMS one reset
Please use a program tool ( requires year make and model) NOT a 1 button relearn tool
Key Ignition.
1. Make sure your key is in the ignition and turned to off. In the off setting press down your brake pedal quickly and let it up quickly (basic tap).
2. Turn your key up and down (going from off to on) three times ending in the on position.
3. Firmly press down and release the brake pedal. (Hard Tap)
4. Turn key ignition to the off setting.
5. Repeat step 2.
Turn your key up and down (going from off to on) three times ending in the on position.
6. You will hear horn sound and see tpms logo on your dash blinking.
**Note: If you have a message center you will see words train LF tire appear.
7. Hold program tool (set to year make and model of you car) to the LF valve stem and trigger the activate button. The horn will beep when programmed, repeat step in order from LF to RF tp RR ending on LR. Horn will beep twice when complete.
**Push button start (no ignition key)
1. Do not start vehicle- from the off setting Firmly press down and release the brake pedal. (Hard Tap)
2. Press the push button to accessory mode (most cars will illuminate on button next to acc)
3. Push the button from Acc to off. Repeat this two more times ending on acc.
5. Firmly press down and release the brake pedal. (Hard Tap) Turn vehicle off
6. Return vehicle to accessory mode.
7. Repeat step 3. Push the button from Acc to off. Repeat this two more times ending on acc..
8. You will hear horn sound and see tpms logo on your dash blinking.

1. Inflate all tires to the pressure listed on tire placard.
2. Turn ignition cycle to OFF.
3. Cycle ignition from OFF to RUN position 3 times, ending in RUN position.
4. Press and release brake pedal.
5. Turn ignition cycle to OFF.
6. Cycle ignition from OFF to RUN position 3 times, ending in RUN position.
7. Horn will sound once and TPMS telltale will blink once train mode is initiated. If equipped with message center, it will TRAIN LF TIRE. Place relearn magnet on LF sensor until horn sounds.
8. Proceed as in step 6 for the next 3 sensors in the following order: RF, RR, LR.
9. After training LR, the horn will sound and message center will display TIRE TRAINING MODE COMPLETE, if equipped.

Inflate all tires to the pressure listed on tire placard.
For models without message center:
Turn ignition to ON/RUN position (engine off)
1. Press and hold odometer reset button until TIRE PRESSURE SET is displayed.
2. Hold button for 3 more seconds.
3. TPMS telltale will begin to blink to signal completion of reset process.
For models with message center:
Turn ignition to ON/RUN position (engine off)
1. Press and hold SETUP button until RESET FOR SYSTEM CHECK is displayed.
2. Press and hold RESET button until HOLD RESET TO RELEARN is displayed.
3. Press and hold RESET for 3 seconds.
4. TPMS telltale and HOLD RESET TO RELEARN message will blink 3 times to signal completion of reset process.

1. Inflate all tires to the pressure listed on tire placard.
2. Turn ignition to ON position.
3. If not equipped with RESET button:
-Press the Trip/Odometer button until TIRE RESET or CHECK TIRE and RESET appear.
- Press and hold button for 3 seconds until TPMS telltale blinks 3 times and turns off.
4. If equipped with RESET button:
-Press and hold TIRE RESET BUTTON (on instrument panel, behind left side of steering wheel) for 3 seconds. TPMS telltale should blink 3 times and turn off.

*Ford TPMS Relearn Tool (or properly formatted TPMS learn tool) is required following rotation, tire replacement, and sensor replacement. This tool is located in the glove box with the owner's manual.

1. Inflate all tires to pressure listed on tire placard
2. Turn ignition to OFF position and press and release brake pedal.
3. Cycle ignition from OFF to RUN position 3 times, ending in RUN position.
4. Press and release brake pedal.
5. Turn ignition to OFF position.
6. Cycle ignition from OFF to RUN position 3 times, ending in RUN position.
7. Horn will sound once and TPMS telltale will blink once train mode is initiated. If equipped with message center, it will display TRAIN LF TIRE. Place antennae of learn tool on sidewall of LF tire 180 degrees from valve stem to activate sensor. Horn will sound once sensor has been recognized. Repeat step for RF, RR, and LR tires.
8. After training LR tire the message center will display TRAINING MODE COMPLETE. If the vehicle is not equipped with the message center display, successful completion can be verfied by turning ignition to the OFF position and not having the horn sound, if the horn sounds the training procedure must be repeated.

Ensure all tires are inflated to the pressure listed on the tire placard. Vehicle must be driven for at least 10 minutes while maintaining speed above 15mph in order for system to learn new sensor IDs.
HYN-1
A properly formatted scan tool is required to learn new sensor IDs when replacing sensors.
TIA Troubleshooting Tip: These vehicles utilize two types of TPMS: lo-line an hi-line. Hi-line systems show the driver position and air pressure of all tires via a display, while lo-line systems do not communicate position and will only utilize the TPMS indicator symbol on the dash. Some models switched systems mid-year, so be aware of the type of TPMS you are servicing.
